Daria

I had said that I was going to post to the blog more this year, and here we are almost in October and I have really been slacking. I have been so busy (for which I am so thankful), but I had a session last week that really made me stop and think. I realized that I need to take the time to pause and enjoy each session. I have met so many wonderful people this year so far and continue to do so and I am overjoyed. Daria was no exception to this.

My session with Daria really was a breath of fresh air. This woman truly has a beautiful soul and it is apparent from the moment you meet her. It was so refreshing and uplifting to be in the presence of someone who had such a positive and light hearted outlook on life, especially in a world that is so full of hate. We decided to have the session on her property, and I am so glad we did. It was absolutely beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Oh and not to mention that I got to meet her three sheep. Meet Emma, my pal during my time there. 

Daria is a musician and plays instruments from all over the world- how cool is that?! Everyone I meet is usually nervous prior to the start of their session, but as soon as she started playing a song, I could tell that she was doing exactly what she loved. She is a talented musician and listening to her music was inspiring.

Teaching children through music is Daria's passion, and it is apparent. I was lucky enough to get a copy of one of her CD's and my children absolutely love it!
